Really deep emotional story。 Ended abruptly presumably for the sequel。 Not really a happy go lucky story。 If you have empathic tendencies you will take on the emotions。 Although, it kept me interested and the twists and turns were well crafted。 Definitely worth the time。

This book started it out great for me and loved how we got to meet every character。 I loved Mackenzie and Atlas the most out of all the characters。 Mackenzie cannot remember what happened on the day of her accident and tries to remember so she can move past it。 I wish that part of the storyline took more space than it did because I found it intriguing and that’s when we saw the biggest growth in Mackenzie。 I loved how we get to see two different perspectives on the same situation and how everyth This book started it out great for me and loved how we got to meet every character。 I loved Mackenzie and Atlas the most out of all the characters。 Mackenzie cannot remember what happened on the day of her accident and tries to remember so she can move past it。 I wish that part of the storyline took more space than it did because I found it intriguing and that’s when we saw the biggest growth in Mackenzie。 I loved how we get to see two different perspectives on the same situation and how everything can be seen or felt differently by different people。 I felt like the dynamic and relationship between each MC and their parents represented a reality that is not shown or talked about which I liked。 I did have a bit of a hard time at one point as some storyline felt like it was dragging a bit too long or some things started to get repetitive but I was able to move past it and really enjoyed the book。 I am looking forward to the second book so we can find out how everything will wrap up。 。。。more

“You’re playing with fire, doll。”This book。 Holy moly y’all this book is sooo good! I’ve never seen a love triangle done in such perfection as this before。 I liked Fake Notes but omg I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book。 If this is anything to what is to come with this series it may be one of my favorites of this year! I love getting Graham, Atlas, & Mackenzie’s point of view。 That is so new & refreshing! Makes it even that much better! The love triangle was *chefs kiss* & the fact it was ftb made this book perfection! I will admit I could tell what had happened to Makenzie from the get go but it was still a wild ride & I enjoyed every bingeable moment! Not to mention that cliffhanger is rough (in a good way)! I need the next book now! There is so much I need to know。 I can tell you I am definitely not done with Altas & Mackenzie by a long shot。 This is just what I needed to get out of my reading slump。 Forbidden romanceLove triangleBad boy with a golden heartCursing, fade to black moments。 I would say close to a mature YA。 Just on the verge of being too much for a YA but at the same time perfect。 Would definitely recommend this series and naming your child Atlas ;)I can’t wait to see what happens next! 。。。more

Amazing ReadAn amazing read that pulls you in from the first word till the last。 Mackenzie’s character has a lot of hardship and turmoil and with the help of her best friend and his cousin she becomes stronger。 A love triangle between the three of them takes you on a whirlwind journey that end with a cliffhanger。 Can’t wait to read what happens next。

Format-eArc Love the Way You Lie is a young adult novel by Gracie Graham that follows Mackenzie, a teen girl who had her life turned upside down after being the cause of the car wreck that killed her mother。 A year later, Mackenzie still can’t remember a lot surrounding the events that led up to the crash。 Her best friend, Graham, tries to be there for her as much as possible but it seems like something isn’t quite clicking with them。 Enter Atlas-a motorcycle riding bad boy that is new to town a Format-eArc Love the Way You Lie is a young adult novel by Gracie Graham that follows Mackenzie, a teen girl who had her life turned upside down after being the cause of the car wreck that killed her mother。 A year later, Mackenzie still can’t remember a lot surrounding the events that led up to the crash。 Her best friend, Graham, tries to be there for her as much as possible but it seems like something isn’t quite clicking with them。 Enter Atlas-a motorcycle riding bad boy that is new to town and just so happens to be Graham’s cousin。 Sparks begin to fly between Mackenzie and Atlas but while that flame is new, the existing bond with her best friend Graham is strong as well。 Can the boys keep their fighting over Mackenzie from the football field and lead their team to a championship?I really enjoyed this book! It’s been awhile since I have read a young adult contemporary like this and I see why I liked them so much growing up! While I couldn’t relate to the characters as well as I could have fifteen years ago, I still love the angst of the love triangle this author built。 I really loved how this was a love triangle where you could easily root for both boys。 We get all three characters’ perspectives which I don’t think I have really seen in a young adult book。 There was also mystery plot woven in to keep the book’s overall momentum up。 The way this ended makes me super curious to see where the next book goes! I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys romance but doesn’t necessarily need spice mixed in as this is a fade to black book。 I would give this a 4。5* just because there were a few things pace-wise that seemed rushed to get to the next big scene。 While I appreciate there not being a lot of “slow time,” it did feel a little disjointed。 But other than that, this was fantastic!Thank you so much to the author for the arc! 。。。more

“Torn between my best friend and the boy who makes my heart beat again, learning the truth might break me…”Ahhh the TENSION! Despite being a YA, I definitely felt the sexual tension and thought the love triangle was done so freaking well! With POV from all 3 characters it actually made it easy to picture Kenzie with both boys! (However, let’s be real。 I was rooting for bad boy and off limits Atlas)。 After an accident that took Mckenzie’s mother and left her with no memory of why or how it happen “Torn between my best friend and the boy who makes my heart beat again, learning the truth might break me…”Ahhh the TENSION! Or will they only open her to more pain and heartache? This book was fantastic and I absolutely loved it! Ending in a wicked cliffhanger, I can not wait for the next book! For fans of The Summer I Turned Pretty and Field Party, Love the way you Lie by Gracie Graham will sure to be your next favourite! A huge thank you to Author Gracie for giving me an ARC in exchange for an honest review :) 。。。more

⅘ ⭐️Thank you so much Gracie Graham for an ARC! I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to read the next book in the series! It kept me hooked the entire way through!!Ok really quickly but I was so team Atlas。 I don’t know it might just be the bad boy part of him, but oh my gosh I would pick him too。 I don’t know how Makenzie didn’t see it sooner。 I was not the biggest fan of Graham。 Sure he was sweet and very golden retriever-ish, but he didn’t have her explore herself and her finding out about her ⅘ ⭐️Thank you so much Gracie Graham for an ARC! I was so angry! Like dude, just because she didn’t like you because you waited too long?!?Anyway, I thought this was a good book。 The triangle was handled well, even though I wanted Mackenzie to just pick one。 (Hopefully Atlas) The aspect of her finding her memory is a great addition to the romance and adds a sense of seriousness to the book。 The character dynamics were great and I hope in future books we get to see more side characters being part of the story。 Hopefully more of Atlas’s old friend group。 。。。more

I have never read a book so fast! It sucked me in right from the beginning right to the cliff hanger at the end! From best friend love interest to love triangles plus add in a mystery car accident and it makes a must read。 I felt every moment of this story and can’t wait for the next one in this series!

A love triangle with a broken girl, his best friend and the new bad boy in town。 Past secrets, feelings not shared, a brutal accident and a difficult childhood, all bring together McKenzie, Graham and Atlas but it canalso break them all。 Looking forward to the next book in the series。

This book BLEW MY FREAKING MIND。 I loved it。 Once I started I couldn't stop。 I just had to know what would happen next。 The emotions in this book were so real。 I found myself conflicted along with MacKenzie。 That ending and everything that came before it。。。let me just say I wish there was a warning that this book ended on a CLIFFHANGER!!! Need the second book as soon as possible。I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review。 This book BLEW MY FREAKING MIND。 I loved it。 Once I started I couldn't stop。 I just had to know what would happen next。 The emotions in this book were so real。 I found myself conflicted along with MacKenzie。 That ending and everything that came before it。。。let me just say I wish there was a warning that this book ended on a CLIFFHANGER!!! Rating: 4。5/5I loved this book so much and had a really hard time putting it down! Mackenzie Hart is entering her Senior year of high school after spending 9 months recovering both physically and emotionally from a car accident that took her mother’s life and almost her own。 Now she wants to remember what happened that day and enlists the help of the new kid, Atlas, a boy with a bad reputation and cousin to her best friend, Graham。 Everyone warns her to stay away from him, but she just can’t。 Bu Rating: 4。5/5I loved this book so much and had a really hard time putting it down! This story felt so real and I was drawn in immediately。 The love triangle was solid and I was seriously conflicted the entire time as much as Mackenzie。 Mackenzie, Atlas, and Graham each have a POV and I loved being able to hear their thoughts and feelings。 This book leaves you on a bit of a cliffhanger and I am dying to know what happens in book 2!Romantic Content: Kissing, Fade to blackLanguage: Moderate, Some sexual innuendo 。。。more
